Storyline

A half-empty village far from the regional center has been inhabited by characters from Ostrovsky's "Snegurochka," only adjusted to our times. Bobyl and Bobylikha are stationmasters, Berendey is no longer a tsar but a watchman, Lel is a trendy DJ returning from Moscow for the holidays, and his classmate Mizgir is a successful businessman from the regional center.
